Time-Varying Pricing

California businesses are moving to a new electric rate structure called Time-Varying Pricing (TVP), part of a statewide energy plan that will be implemented by all investor-owned utilities in the state. Time-Varying Pricing is designed to help protect the state¹s electricity resources. During weekday afternoons, when demand is higher than in the morning or at night, rates are higher; at other times they will be lower. Conserving energy during peak periods, by even a small amount, can help you lower your annual bills. For more information, including a self directed webinar on TVP, follow this link:

Thank you for visiting the Energy Watch Web site for the Fresno and Madera Energy Watch Programs.

The Energy Watch Program is a public service program offered by Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and its partners to educate utility customers in energy efficiency. The Energy Watch Program provides a way to save energy through the direct installation of energy efficient measures (i.e. high bay T5 and T8 fixtures, LED exit signs, hardwired compact and linear compact fluorescent light bulbs, etc.) at no cost to qualified PG&E customers.

We encourage you to explore this site and find out more about Energy Watch and how we can help you become more energy efficient.
